OUTSIDE PLANE RAIL
If your natural tendency is to bring the putter outside the intended path in your backswing, then the Outside Plane Rail (shown on the left of the picture) is for you. It has the lie angle of your putter so you bring the putter on the correct plane. When used with the inside rail, it forms the ultimate "on plane slot" to groove your stroke.
